then vote YES to keep our schools among the best in Texas.
Vote YES for better salaries for our educators.
Recruiting the best and most experienced teachers for our students requires offering salaries commensurate with their expertise and abilities. The School Funding Election, if approved by voters, will provide HEB ISD with the funds needed to attract and retain quality educators now and, in the future, who are essential to maintaining and growing academic, fine arts, college preparation, and CTE programs vital to the success of our students.
Vote YES for safe classrooms in every school.
State law requires the presence of an armed security officer on every campus. However, local school districts and the taxpayers they serve are responsible for paying a significant portion of these costs. The School Funding Election will provide the revenue HEB ISD needs to ensure armed officers remain present on all campuses, continue with our current safety programs, and introduce new security measures that better protect every classroom from violent crime.
Vote YES to protect against classroom overcrowding.
Voting YES in the School Funding Election allows HEB ISD to sustain staffing levels with qualified teachers, ensuring small class sizes and personalized attention for students. Without this funding, there is a risk of larger, overcrowded classes that could hinder learning, particularly in elementary schools.
Vote YES for job training & college preparation opportunities.
To equip our high school students with a strong academic foundation for adult success, HEB ISD will expand its college readiness, job skills training, and certification programs in high-demand careers. The School Funding Referendum will support ongoing career pathways and job training initiatives, as well as enhance partnerships with Tarrant County College District. Additionally, the district will be able to sustain and grow special education, academic courses, dual credit classes, athletics, fine arts, extracurricular activities, and leadership programs—all essential for preparing students for college, careers, and life.
